Please let my works be produced by faith, my labor prompted by love

and endurance inspired by hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Lord,

help me to be a believer to be modeled.  Lord, let me please You and

not men.  Lord, help me not to look for praise from men.  Lord,

help me to be gentle, encouraging, comforting and urging others

to live lives worthy of God who calls us into His Kingdom.  Lord, please

let my love increase and overflow for others.  Lord, please create in me a

clean heart and renew in me a right spirit so that I will be blameless and

holy in Your presence.

In Jesus name,

John 2:1-5
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

I want to inspire and speak on having a settled

faith with unspeakable joy.  I want to look at

These specific scriptures and see how this individual

walked it out.  Settled means to bring to rest or come

to rest.  Unspeakable means incapable of being

expressed in words.  This is where I believe God is

trying to get us individually and as the body of

Christ but we have to let Jesus work.

John 2:1-3

In these first three scriptures we see a marriage going

on.  So it seems that everything is going good and flowing.

The text shows the mother of Jesus was there.  Jesus

and His disciples were called and invited to the

marriage also.  The marriage was on the third day and

suddenly an issue arises.  They wanted more wine at the

marriage because the wine ran out.  So what do you do

when a want becomes a need?  What do you do when a want

becomes a need you cannot fulfill?  What do you do?

Where do you turn?  Who do you call?  The blessing that

I got out of these scriptures is even with the marriage going on that on

the third day Jesus was invited. They invited Jesus to

the wedding!  Jesus being in your life in every area only

makes life better!

John 2:4

Now hold up!  She goes to Jesus with her need and he tells

her, "What have I to do with thee, mine hour has not

come yet".    Truthfully if that was some of us that reply would

of shook us!  We would have probably been discouraged to ask Jesus

for anything else.  Or some would have just given up on Jesus.  But look

what this woman does!

John 2:5

She works her faith or does her part and leaves the rest to Jesus.  Jesus said, “Come

unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will get you rest”.  We all have

our part to do but we cannot forget once we have done our part we have to get out

the way and let Jesus work.  Even the reply from Jesus to Mary did not shake her.  She

had a settled faith!

Some of us right now are trying to get to the other side of what you’re dealing with.

Your trying to get pass the past to pass the hurt and questions that life have gone

unanswered.  You know personally your need but we have to let Jesus work and leave

it alone.  By leaving it alone and letting Jesus work shows your confidence in the Lord.

Cast not away therefore your confidence which hath great recompense of reward.  Get

out the way and let Jesus work!  Why?  He wants to do some turning.  He is the only

one that has the power to turn your situation around and make it better!

God is omnipotent!  He is all powerful and able to do anything.  God is omniscient.

He knows it all!  He knows your need and exactly what you need.  Just get out

the way and let Jesus work.  He wants to turn that weeping and sorry into

unspeakable joy.  Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.

Yes, the pain may endure.  Yes, the hurt may endure.  Yes, brokenness may endure.

Yes, the shame may endure but joy cometh!  Joy cometh in the morning!  And while

your enduring whatever it is let the peace of God which passeth all understanding

keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.  Get out the way and let Jesus work

because He is bringing joy in the morning.  And this joy and peace is found only in the

Holy Ghost!

Look at what God does when we do our part and let Jesus work!  The results are Jesus

performs His first miracle.  He manifested forth His glory and the disciples believed on Him.

Let Jesus work!  Le the Holy Ghost guide and lead you in all you do.  He wants to manifest

His glory and He wants others to believe in Him through you letting Jesus work!

Written by Ron Haggerty Jr.

Mark 5:25-28
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

The definition of pain is physical suffering or discomfort caused by illness or injury.

This pain or issue activated a response from the woman.  Pain allows us to see individually that we need help outside ourselves.  This pain started physical but I’m sure this pain also affected her mental and emotional state.  A characteristic of pain is also sometimes you can’t see it but an individual can feel it and know it’s there.  And sometimes pain is noticeable on the outside appearance and you can see the results by physical appearance and facial expression.

Can you imagine having a pain or issue and doing all you can do to help yourself but the pain won’t away?  Then can you imagine going to a specialist and doctors and you still go away with this pain.  Now you’re broke because you spent all your money going to the doctors.  The doctors go about their business leaving you still with this pain.  Now look at the problem!  Your broke and can’t see any more doctors.  To top that off this pain did not get better but got worse!

And the question still remains how can I push through this pain!  Have you ever said in life I am going to turn around everything and start doing things right.  You may have said that I am going to get my life together but still remains this pain.  You ever been so low that down was up and it seemed life would not get better no matter how hard you tried.  I have been there and done that!

This pain or issues in life can make us even question the God that created us.  Here we see this woman dealing with this pain or issue for 12 years.  C’mon Jesus now I know you could have come to this woman’s rescue earlier than that.  Also, we question God.  Why did you let this happen to me?  Why didn’t I get that?  Why do feel so alone?  Why won’t you take this pain away?    Isaiah 55-8-9 reads “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither my ways your ways.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I know pain can be unbearable, undesirable and sometimes unmovable but will you let it break you or make you stronger.  Have you ever heard the saying, “No pain, no gain”?  It sounds good when you hear it but when your in pain the saying really sucks.

When I played football it was mandatory that you lift weights to get you stronger and ready for game day.  In the process of lifting you felt pain but the pain was only because you were becoming stronger than you were before.  I remember doing sets of ten(lifting a certain amount of weight so many times) and getting to the last three reps and wanted to put the weight back on the rack because I felt I had nothing left in me to finish.  But then I knew that doing those last three would get me strong even if it hurt and I had pain.

The pain that pushes you!  Instead of this pain causing the woman to give up or give in.  In the text it reads when the woman heard of Jesus came in the press behind and touched his garment.  The text also reads in Mark 5:24 that a great crowd kept following Him and pressed Him from all sides (So almost to suffocate Him).  Look what this pain activated.  It activated this woman to walk by faith and not by sight.  This pain activated the woman to take here burdens to the Lord and leave them there.  This pain activated a die-hard faith in Jesus alone and she was doing whatever it took to get to Him.  I know just like the woman we have all dealt with or we are dealing with pain or issues.  If I was to give the microphone to the woman I know her testimony would be there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain!

I know just like the woman you may have wanted to give up in the process but this pain has made you stronger and this pain or issue led you right to Jesus.  Did you know that God already knew about this pain?  God is omniscient which means He knows it all.  He was waiting for you to come by faith in Jesus.  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.  Without faith it is impossible to please God.  The pain didn’t feel good but there was purpose in the pain.  Even Jesus learned obedience through the things he suffered.  Look what this pain activated!

Let this pain activate your faith in Jesus continually.

Let this pain activate your trust in God totally.

Let this pain activate you to be a witness for God.

Let this pain produce fruit in your life through the Holy Spirit!                                              ]]>

whole·heart·ed adjective \ˈhōl-ˈhär-təd\: having or showing no doubt or uncertainty about doing something, supporting someone, etc.

Ephesians 6:7 Amplified Bible (AMP)7 Rendering service readily with goodwill, as to the Lord and not to men

I know you probably heard that you only live once.  Live life to the fullest.  Do it to death.  Have no regrets and many different saying in the time that you have been  on earth.  The only problem is some of us don't know what we should be doing!  Should I do this or should I do that?  These are the questions that we struggle with over a lifetime.  Some people have a hard time focusing on one thing and then some people have so much that they focus on.  Have you ever thought about doing all that you do in life wholeheartedly?  I mean really just think how far you would go!  The problem I see a lot of people having is giving there all and feeling it's not paying off.  One thing we can't ignore even though we try is wanting to be appreciated or be apart of something.  We want to be somebody that anybody can look up too or we just want to be popular.  The problem with that is there is a time for everything!  When you don't value your time you waste it.  Waste it trying to get more instead of being content with what you have.  You look at others and expect the same reward for the service you do.  You value success in what you have instead of true relationships that money can not buy.

Today, I just want to challenge everyone that reads this!  God has a purpose and plan for your life.  No matter what you are doing learn to be content and do whatever you do wholeheartedly as unto the Lord.  I know you may feel that there is more stuff to go after in life and that may be true but right now do whatever your doing wholeheartedly as unto the Lord.  There are seasons in life for everyone and with seasons there are opportunities.  Thank God for the season you are in right now and the opportunities God has blessed you to have.  Even in sickness God allowed you to live on.  Even in hurt God allowed you to heal.  Even being mistreated God allowed you to forgive.  Even when there was no hope for your situation God made a way.  God deserves your best and no matter what you do...DO IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY AS UNTO THE LORD!

Believe and attack unbelief by admitting it’s there!  A lot of times it’s easy to say I believe with your mouth.  The hardest thing to do is to put action into what you believe!  Just think a lot of people believe in others more than they do themselves.  I know that it seems that you are not this and your are not that.  You were not raised with this and you did not have those opportunities as others.  But still, there is something in you that can only be produced by you and you alone.  Do you believe you have purpose?  Do you believe that what’s inside of you will affect someone else in a positive way?  Do you believe that all you have to do is be yourself?  Do you believe you are important?  Let me answer that for you.  Yes, you are very important!  You have to recognize that self can be your biggest enemy.  First, you have to overcome self to become productive in what you believe in.  Second, you must put action to what you believe in.  Third, after you have done those two things then it is time for God to produce on your behalf!  Only He can bring the real fruit of your belief to pass.  That takes daily trusting in the Lord and daily attacking that unbelief.  No, every day won’t be great mentally and physically but still you must press on one day at a time!  Actions speak louder than words so let your actions match your words!  Just believe!
